30 weeks 4 days and still counting....

My boy is getting bigger with each day he remains inside my belly. My love for him is unimaginable, I am in love with my son. I want to hold him kiss him smell him, love him and watch him grow. The days spent in this hospital will not go in vain. I promise to take advantage of all them time spend outside these walls. His Dad is so anxious to finally get to the delivery day as we all are.
I have gestational diabetes and it is no fun. My diet is so out of whack and I feel like I am totally starving. I have been told that baby isnt affected greatly by this change. I eat less carbs more protein and I take vitamins and supplements to make up for what is missing. I cant wait to leave this place so I can eat a fat steak and some cake! For Lucas I will make the sacrifice.
James has decided if I am gonna cheat then its limited to once a week, he is in control of this because I cant leave my room therefore if I want a cookie he has to bring it for me. I think pregant women with gestational diabetes suffer alot because at the time in our lives when we dont care about weight gain we are constantly reminded of our diets and what we are eating. It is so frustrating but it's not forever. Que sera - sera...
